Despite feeling like poo (did I mention I feel like poo?) I've managed to finish my entry for the craftster challenge for this month, Super Ugly to Super Awesome!
Here is what I started with....
This is what I made...
You can see a boatload of pics and some in progress shots here.
I am kinda in love with the snail. Mmmhmm. And the mushroom in the keyhole. <3!ReplyDelete
Now THAT'S what I call a transformation!!! Beautiful.ReplyDelete
"Ug. I feel like poo. A big pile of poo. A pile of poo that feels sick. It's like I'm constantly on the cusp of full blown illness but instead just feel crappy and nauseous all the time. Ick!"ReplyDelete
Poor thing! I wish some Spice~Away I could send your way. It is a Simple that gives strength and vitality, and owns many recuperative powers, shared with each sip of it. I will leave you with its receipt, because it is worth having a batch at the ready for such times as when a case of the Feel Like Poo has stricken, and immediate dip-into-its are necessary ~~~but it takes time to "brew":
1 cup French Lavendar
1~1" Cinnamon stick
1 quart of water (preferably Full Moon Water)
1 quart of Brandy (Quite warming and YUM!)
2 cups of Honey
1' minced Gingerroot
4 whole Allspice Berries
1 teaspoon of Nutmeg
a thumb-to-pointer's worth of Sage
1 cup of Raisins (Golden will make for too sweet and not potent enough)
2 Tablespoons of Rose Water
All dry parts excepting the Raisins, should be finely ground, then put into a large glass recepticle to befriend the Honey, Raisins, and Rose Water, waiting for them there. The Brandy then is poured over the entire comingling. Cover this container well before allowing it to "brew" in Sunlight for 20 days full, sametimely: shake regularly. On day 21, strain over and again, rebottling the clear Simple for use. (Store in the coolness of a dark area.)
Meanstwhile, Be Well Wishes I also send your way!
Postscript: I love the results of the Chickadee Magic cast you did upon this little shelf!
What an amazing transformation!! Wow... absolutely gorgeous.ReplyDelete
I hope you are feeling better soon.
